So I truly don’t know how to do this but here I go. I’m an AuDHD artist who is otrovert personally. With that being said, my art style means connection. I myself really was fighting with understanding what that meant to me. I have come to realize that means connecting in any form to one another. Connect through having a healthy debate with a random person to having your loved ones watching down on you from the other side. Connecting with one's family so you can heal generational trauma. Learning how to hear and understand each other this way would be crucial to anyone’s true growth within life itself.

A bit more about myself I guess. I was born in NYC to a mother who was 18, which pretty much meant we were raising each other. I was one of the few kids that she got to keep or kept. But that’s her life story and since I am not her, I have no real idea of what she had going on before me or my younger years. I just know my childhood was not the best a lot of times. But I do know that there is trauma from those younger years I don’t remember. For the most part, I do know that if that’s the case, it’s because I blocked it out, but there is certain trauma that would never be forgotten. 

This is why I am trying even harder to connect better with my own blood family. Because even I have added to the generational trauma due to my own. And yes, the really bad arguments, even the ones you have done as a kid, can add to it. Truth be told from my experience, someone could apologize for something but in the back of your head you still wonder “Does this person really mean what they are saying?” This would make the pain have no real end date. The moment the same situation happens again, all the work goes down the drain. This doesn’t mean people can’t grow past it, but it does make it harder. So just talking with somewhat of an understanding of that lets all parties heal. Connecting with people could help with all sorts of healing.
